Contractors Business Units SA Course License

To hold a restricted Building, Electrical or Plumbing SA Contractors License you must complete the following 2 contractors business units SA course (or similar):
BSBESB402 – Establish legal and risk management requirements of new business ventures; and
BSBESB401 – Research and develop business plans

General Builder Cert IV Mandatory 4 Units
Online only – CBS Requirement
From 1 October 2020, any Building Contractor looking to contract for General Building of any kind (structural work), is required to complete an additional 4 units within the Cert IV Building package. One director of a company, one partner in a partnership or a sole trader is required to complete these units. PCD Training delivers these specific 4 units online, here’s what they offer:
– $1200 fixed cost for all 4 units combined via the online course inc. Certificate
– 100% online units with no textbooks and course Certificate (pdf) issued usually within 24hrs
– You can start these Cert IV units before paying for them so you can experience the online portal (no-one else offers this service)
Important points to consider when deciding training providers:
– Don’t fall for the trap of cheap online training providers. These are cheap due to hard to navigate learning platforms, slow marking, poor instant support and some only allow 3 months access to complete the units
– PCD Training allows you to commence all units without a fee. For training providers, this option is unheard of and it’s because other on-site and online training providers financially lock you in prior to you using their resources/facilities so you cant opt-out once enrolled
– Sam from SA Trade Licensing has had exposure to all industry bodies and training providers over the last 12 years and has consistent feedback from clients about the issues for their method of learning.
